Today, I learned how to set up a website using the Dreamweaver program. So far, I have created my homepage. It is pretty bare right now, but has links to my blog, website, and email. I am so glad to be learning how to develop a website. I took some Dreamweaver classes a couple years ago, but forgot most of what I learned. This time, I hope that I can continue to work on my website so that I can familiarize myself with the process and therefore not forget what I am doing. I think that knowing how to create and update a website is a very important skill to have. I feel that it will be a great benefit to my professional career. With a website, I will be able to share information about myself and my teaching career with many people. Also, once I am a teacher, I will be able to share information with my students. I will be able to put important, interesting, or helpful information on my website for their use. More and more, technology is being integrated into the classroom and I think it is important to be familiar with these processes. So..... I'm Learning. :)
